Details of the Job/Internship

Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan attorneys is hiring for the position of Direct Tax- Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their tax requirements and deliver exceptional client service.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
• Represent the firm in assessments and tribunal appeals at the CIT/ITAT level.
• Manage domestic and international tax assignments, including transfer pricing.
• Handle tax litigation, compliance, and advisory matters.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues and apply findings to client-specific scenarios.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance while identifying areas of potential exposure.
• Develop strategies to address compliance challenges and deliver high-quality work products that exceed client expectations.

Eligibility

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Law Graduate from a reputed law school with a strong academic record.
• 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate tax and international tax, with working knowledge of transfer pricing assignments.
