Details of the Job/Internship
Cubical Operations LLP is hiring a Direct Tax AM/C/SC with experience of 1+ years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle direct tax compliance for individuals, firms, LLPs, and companies.
- Manage income tax assessments, reassessments, and rectification proceedings.
- Prepare and file responses to notices issued under the Income-tax Act.
- Assist and independently handle tax litigation before Income Tax Authorities, CIT (Appeals), and ITAT.
- Support search and seizure matters including post-search assessments and documentation.
- Draft written submissions, appeals, and legal representations.
- Conduct tax research and interpret statutory provisions and judicial precedents.
- Coordinate with clients, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely closure of matters.
Eligibility
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary.
- Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience in direct tax.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian direct tax laws.
- Practical exposure to tax assessments and litigation.
- Experience in search and seizure cases is preferred.
- Good drafting and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
- Prior experience with a CA firm, tax consultancy, or legal firm is preferred.
