Details of the Job/Internship

Swiggy is hiring for the position of Director - Legal to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

•  Team Management and Stakeholder Management.
• Structuring and evaluating business initiatives & drafting policies and SOPs.
• Setting Up Governance Structure.
•  Advising and supporting end-to-end ongoing businesses undertaken by the verticals.
• Proactively advise and assist in managing important changes in laws and regulations, identifying risks, and preparing mitigation strategies.
• Lead the team in developing processes, policies, and procedures designed to reduce legal risk and/or increase efficiency.
• Work with support functions and business team to ensure that policies of the company are being implemented, work with business teams to ensure compliance and smooth implementation of policies and processes.
• Work on new projects.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university in India or relevant qualification, 10-12 years of experience.
• Competence in a broad range of corporate and business laws, especially in both
• Indian domestic and international commercial transactions and intellectual property.
• Extensive experience and strong skills in drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Extensive experience in analyzing and responding to regulatory and compliance matters.
• Expertise in analyzing and assessing business risks, processes, and issues and proposing/implementing solutions.
• Ability to function autonomously yet communicate laterally and upwardly with ease and transparency.
