Details of the Job/Internship
PwC Acceleration Center India is hiring a Director – Employment Law with 15+ years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on employment laws across India, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, and Manila.
- Support or lead restructures, litigation, arbitrations, and M&A due diligence.
- Oversee employee asset transfers between entities.
- Review and align employment policies and employee communication.
- Provide legal advice on hiring, terminations, investigations, and compliance.
- Deliver employment law training.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manage external counsel when needed.
Eligibility
- LLB degree required.
- Minimum 15 years of post-qualification legal experience.
- At least 5 years as in-house counsel, preferably for an Indian subsidiary of a multinational company.
- Experience in employment laws across relevant jurisdictions.
- Litigation/arbitration experience preferred.
- Proven experience managing legal teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High level of digital acumen.
