Details of the Job/Internship

Exotel is hiring a Director – Legal with 10–12 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leading commercial, service, enterprise, vendor, and procurement contracts.
• Advising business, finance, HR, and leadership teams on legal and regulatory matters.
• Identifying and mitigating legal, regulatory, and litigation risks across geographies.
• Strengthening compliance frameworks and internal governance standards.
• Supporting board matters, audits, and statutory obligations.
• Designing legal playbooks, SOPs, and standard contract templates.
• Modernising internal policies aligned with long-term business goals.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the in-house legal team.
• Driving training, capability building, and scalable legal frameworks.

Eligibility

• 10–12 years of total legal experience.
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
• Strong background in B2B services.
• Expertise in commercial and enterprise contracts.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.

Salary/Stipend
