Herbalife International India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Director – Legal with 17+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead legal support for departments including Compliance, HR, GRA, Finance, and Corporate Communications.
- Supervise and mentor a legal team of four members.
- Provide advisory on Indian laws such as FSSAI, FEMA, Company Law, and Consumer Protection.
- Represent the company in regulatory proceedings as required.
- Manage corporate governance and company secretary functions.
- Ensure alignment with global legal and ethical standards.
- Support internal investigations and engage with external counsel.
- Deliver legal training and promote proactive risk management.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws from a recognized Indian university.
- Minimum 17 years of legal experience in a reputed law firm or corporate legal department.
- Member of any State Bar in India (preferred).
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Experience managing legal teams, resources, and budgets.
- Strong understanding of Indian food, regulatory, and commercial laws.
- Ability to travel across India.
