Herbalife International India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Director, Legal – India with over 17 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various internal departments to provide practical legal solutions.
- Identify and resolve legal, regulatory, or government-related issues promptly.
- Represent the company in proceedings when necessary.
- Assist in crisis management and implement legal training programs.
- Engage with business units to proactively address legal concerns and strategic goals.
- Manage company secretarial functions.
- Ensure compliance with company laws, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal investigations and coordinate with global compliance teams.
- Communicate with distributors, customers, and vendors as needed.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws from a recognized Indian university.
- Minimum 17 years of experience in a large Indian or international law firm and/or corporate legal department.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Member of the Bar in any Indian state (preferred).
- Familiarity with Indian food laws, food safety, company law, FEMA, and consumer protection laws.
- Experience in leading legal teams, managing budgets, and handling compliance and litigation.
- Willingness to travel regularly across India.
