Herbalife International India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Director – Legal with 17+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide legal solutions aligned with business goals.
- Identify and resolve legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings as needed.
- Lead crisis management and legal training initiatives.
- Proactively counsel departments to avoid legal risks.
- Manage the company secretary function.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, food safety, and data protection laws.
- Investigate compliance matters and manage external counsel interactions.
- Support ECO investigations and liaise with global offices.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws from a recognized university in India.
- Minimum 17 years of experience in a large law firm or corporate legal department.
- Experience in litigation or regulatory matters.
- Familiarity with Indian Food, Food Safety, FEMA, and Consumer Protection laws.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly across India.
