Atlassian is hiring a Director of Employment Law with 12+ years of experience to lead its employment legal function in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as the primary legal advisor on all employment matters in India.
- Build and lead the employment law function and scalable legal processes.
- Advise senior leadership and liaise with regulators and external counsel.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and People Operations on strategic initiatives.
- Monitor legal developments and ensure compliance with Indian labor law.
- Conduct training on legal risk, compliance, and best practices.
- Contribute to global legal projects and functional maturity.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer in India, in good standing.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, with substantial in-house legal exposure.
- Expertise in Indian labor and employment law.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
