Role and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a strategic vision and long-term goals for the School of Law and Legal Affairs.
Foster innovation in legal education and practice-oriented learning.
Promote interdisciplinary and cross-functional collaboration within the university and with external entities.

Academic Excellence:

Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of academic
programs.
Ensure the highest standards of teaching, learning, and research.
Support and mentor faculty in their academic and professional development, research
endeavors, and scholarly activities.

Faculty Management:

Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse and highly qualified faculty.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide opportunities for professional growth.
Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating work environment.

Student Success:

Enhance student recruitment, engagement, and success in academic and professional
pursuits.
Support student-led initiatives, moot courts, internships, and placement activities.
Foster a student-centered environment that promotes academic excellence and personal

Administrative Oversight:

Eligibility

A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Law from a recognized institution.
At least 10 years of academic experience with a proven record of teaching, research, and administrative leadership in legal education.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage academic programs and initiatives effectively.
Strong understanding of contemporary issues and trends in legal education and practice.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the academic.
