Details of the Job/Internship

ATB Legal is hiring a Disputes Lawyer for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, with an opportunity to move to the UAE later. The role supports the firm’s growing India and UAE Disputes Practice, covering Arbitrations, DIFC, and ADGM matters.

Role and Responsibilities

The position will be responsible for handling institutional arbitration matters and DIFC and ADGM court cases. Primary responsibilities would include providing legal advice on the matters, drafting pleadings and other submissions, representing clients in arbitration proceedings, and conducting legal research. The role also involves coordinating with clients and other legal professionals within the firm.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized institution
• Experience in handling institutional arbitration matters and representing clients in arbitration proceedings
• High level of skill sets in drafting
• Strong skills in legal research and providing legal advice on disputes matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Experience collaborating with other legal professionals and clients
• Knowledge of cross-border legal requirements and exposure to multiple legal systems is a plus
