Details of the Job/Internship
JSA is hiring a Document Specialist with 2–4 years of experience to join their team in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and proofread legal and professional documents to ensure zero errors and absolute consistency.
- Maintain and organize large-scale digital and physical document repositories for easy access.
- Ensure all documents adhere to the firm’s specific branding standards, confidentiality guidelines, and templates.
- Track document versions meticulously and manage revisions to prevent data loss or overlap.
- Coordinate with internal legal and administrative teams to collect and distribute project-specific documentation.
- Assist in the high-level formatting of complex reports, legal presentations, and multi-party contracts.
- Manage secure storage and archival processes within dedicated Document Management Systems (DMS).
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 2–4 years in document management, specifically within a legal or professional services environment.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and professional Document Management Systems.
- Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet rigid deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent written communication skills with a focus on professional formatting standards.
