Details of the Job/Internship
Areness is hiring a Drafting Associate – Senior (General Litigation) to join their office in New Delhi. This is a full-time, on-site role involving drafting and preparation of legal documents, conducting research for case preparation, coordinating with clients, and assisting in formulating legal strategies with senior attorneys. Court appearances will be required only as needed.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including petitions, contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case laws for strategy development.
- Coordinate with clients to understand legal issues and documentation requirements.
- Assist in litigation-related tasks and ensure compliance in legal documentation.
- Contribute to case preparation and work in coordination with senior attorneys.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or higher qualification such as LLM.
- Prior experience in general litigation and understanding of relevant legal frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site and manage deadlines efficiently.
- Proactive attitude, quick learning ability, and teamwork skills.
