Trilegal is hiring an Employment & Labour Lawyer – Associate/Senior Associate with experience of 1–6 years in employment law practice to join their office in Bengaluru.
The Labour and Employment practice is one of the most comprehensive in the country and is consistently recognised as one of India’s best by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, IBLJ, IDEX, Asian Legal Business, Who’s Who Legal, and Asia Law. The team advises clients across sectors, including several Fortune 500 companies, on complex employment situations, disputes, policy decisions, implementation strategies, and evolving legislative requirements.
The practice regularly advises on employee compensation and benefits, structuring bespoke remuneration and retention policies, compliance with social security laws, leave entitlements, wage and hour regulations, senior management hiring and exits, workforce reorganisations and right-sizing, business closures, employee transfers in acquisitions, structuring employment contracts and engagement models, arrangements with contract and contingent workers, separation documentation, restrictive covenants, employee handbooks and policies, workplace training, disciplinary matters, trade union disputes and settlements, representation before provident fund and other regulatory authorities, immigration matters, labour audits, disciplinary inquiries, and white-collar investigations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advising clients on employment and labour law matters, including compensation, benefits, compliance, workforce restructuring, and regulatory issues.
- Handling disciplinary matters, trade union disputes, labour audits, and employee investigations.
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, separation documents, and related documentation.
- Representing clients before provident fund and other regulatory authorities.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- 1–6 years of experience in employment law practice.
