Details of the Job/Internship
Snowflake is hiring an Employment Legal Counsel with 4+ years of experience to join its in-house legal team for the Asia Pacific region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on employment law issues, including hiring, onboarding, compensation, and benefits.
- Draft, negotiate, and enforce employment-related contracts and agreements.
- Advise on disciplinary actions, performance management, and grievance procedures.
- Manage internal investigations, redundancies, and reorganizations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure ongoing legal compliance.
- Support dispute resolution, regulatory actions, and employment litigation.
- Monitor and interpret employment law developments across the Asia Pacific region.
Eligibility
- JD, LL.B., or equivalent legal degree.
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in employment law.
- Experience in law firms or in-house roles with multinational organizations preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in English required; knowledge of Japanese, Mandarin, or Korean is an advantage.
