Faxoc is hiring for the position of Employment Lawyer to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

Advisory & Compliance

• Provide legal guidance on employment law issues, including contracts, workplace disputes, compliance, and HR policies.
• Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations; update internal policies and practices accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with both local and, where relevant, international employment laws.

Contracts & Documentation

• Draft, review, and update employment agreements, HR policies, and employee handbooks.
• Support employment-related aspects of corporate transactions (M&A, restructuring, downsizing).

Employee Relations & Dispute Resolution

• Advise HR and management on disciplinary actions, grievance redressal, and terminations.
• Support investigations into workplace issues, including harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.
• Represent the company in employment-related negotiations, mediations, and legal proceedings.
• Manage employment litigation in coordination with external counsel when necessary.

Training & Leadership Support

• Conduct training sessions for HR and leadership teams on employment law best practices.
• Provide proactive legal advice to management to balance risk management with business objectives.

Eligibility

• Proven experience as an Employment Lawyer, Labor Counsel, or HR Legal Advisor.
• Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws (local and international exposure preferred).
• Excellent skills in negotiation, advocacy, and conflict resolution.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication abilities.
• High ethical standards with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and integrity.

Salary/Stipend
