Strategic Ventures is hiring an Employment Lawyer for a contract-based, remote position. The role involves providing legal advice on employment contracts, labour and employment law, and labour disputes, along with drafting and reviewing employment agreements, advising on employment policies, handling employment tribunal matters, and ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on employment contracts and labour and employment law matters.
- Draft and review employment agreements and related documentation.
- Advise on employment policies and workplace compliance.
- Handle employment tribunal matters and labour disputes.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and employment regulations.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of employment contracts and labour and employment law.
- Experience with employment tribunals and managing labour disputes.
- Legal expertise in workplace regulations, practices, and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licence to practise law.
- Prior experience in employment law for technology-focused companies is preferred.
