Details of the Job/Internship

Trilegal is hiring a Senior Associate/Counsel with 4–8 years of experience in employment law practice to join their offices in Bangalore, Mumbai or Pune. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise on employee compensation and benefits, remuneration structures and retention policies.
• Ensure compliance with social security laws, leave entitlements, wage and hour regulations and related statutory requirements.
• Support workforce reorganisations, right-sizing exercises, senior management hiring and exits and business closures.
• Conduct employment-related diligences and handle employee transfers in business acquisitions.
• Draft and structure employment contracts, engagement models, documentation for exits and restrictive covenants.
• Assist with contract worker arrangements, contingent workforce issues nd employee handbook and policy development.
• Conduct statutory and workplace training, manage disciplinary matters and handle trade union disputes and settlements.
• Represent clients before provident fund and other regulatory authorities and advise on immigration issues.
• Assist in labour audits, disciplinary inquiries and white-collar employee investigations.

Eligibility

• ualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• PQE of 4 to 8 years in employment law practice.
• Strong integrity, professionalism and respect for colleagues.
• Commitment to aligning personal ambition with the collective goals of the firm.

Salary/Stipend
