Details of the Job/Internship
Bullsmart is hiring for the position of Exchange Regulatory Compliance officer(SEBI) with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end compliance with SEBI, exchange, and depository regulations.
- Monitor and report suspicious transactions in line with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
- File all required periodic reports (e.g., KYC, margin trading, financial disclosures) with regulatory authorities.
- Submit System Audit Reports (SAR), Annual Returns, and other filings to stock exchanges.
- Report and execute bulk deals as required by NSCCL regulations.
- Manage terminal activation and compliance for NEAT, TWS, CTCL, IBT across NSE, BSE, MCX-SX, and USEIL.
- Accurately calculate and report client margins, exposure, and funding positions to exchanges.
- Coordinate with internal teams to validate margin trading documentation before execution.
- Handle daily fund and securities pay-ins/payouts for CM, F&O, and CDS segments.
- Perform timely margin and settlement reporting for F&O and Currency segments to NSCCL.
- Manage RMS surveillance systems, file uploads, and day-to-day monitoring tasks.
- Ensure compliance with KYC formats, client documentation, and regulatory updates.
- Implement new circulars and compliance changes issued by SEBI and exchanges.
- Handle reconciliation and settlement activities to ensure accurate T+1/T+2 compliance.
- Oversee back-office functions related to accounting, trade settlements, and DP operations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Law, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in compliance roles within stockbroking, fintech, or financial services.
- Strong working knowledge of SEBI, NSE, BSE, CDSL/NSDL guidelines and operations.
- Hands-on experience with NEAT, TWS, CTCL systems, RMS tools, and back-office platforms.
- Familiarity with AML regulations, KYC norms, and trade lifecycle management.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage regulatory timelines and operate in a fast-paced environment.
