Vardhman Trusteeship Private Limited is hiring an Executive – Legal & Compliance to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and law firms; draft and vet transaction documents for secured/unsecured borrowings of corporate clients.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI Debenture Trustee Regulations, LODR, IRDS, and related laws.
- Oversee execution and closure of transaction and security documents.
- Verify Conditions Precedent (CPs) and Conditions Subsequent (CSs) as per transaction terms.
- Safeguard transaction and title documents; issue custody confirmation letters.
- Ensure valid creation of charges as per transaction requirements.
- Monitor charged securities and compliance with financial covenants on an ongoing basis.
- Provide clients with advisory on regulatory compliances and update internal teams and clients on new regulations.
- Deliver prompt and efficient client servicing.
- Continuously learn and build product knowledge.
Eligibility
- Strong legal drafting and compliance knowledge.
- Understanding of SEBI and financial regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
