Details of the Job/Internship

Assystem India is hiring an Executive – Legal with 0–2 years of experience to join its office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Vetting and advisory on tenders and bidding documents for infrastructure projects.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts, including JV agreements, consortium agreements, MoUs, NDAs, settlement agreements, and license agreements.
• Preparing notes on legal and contractual issues for internal and client use.
• Drafting applications, petitions, notices, replies, rejoinders, affidavits, and complaints.
• Representing the Company in contractual and civil matters before courts and tribunals.
• Coordinating with Head – Legal, external law firms, and independent practitioners.
• Drafting powers of attorney and legal correspondence with government and private clients.
• Conducting legal research and keeping updated on amendments to laws.
• Assessing risks related to insurance policies.
• Training project managers on applicable laws and compliance issues.
• Monitoring compliance with applicable laws and Assystem Group regulations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a reputed university or college.
• 0–2 years of post-qualification experience; experience in a reputed law firm preferred.
• Exposure to the infrastructure sector.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
