Details of the Job/Internship
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is hiring an Executive - Legal (Trademarks) with 3–5 years of experience to join their legal team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-house trademark searches, oppositions, TM5 drafting, and online filings.
- Handle renewals, legal proceeding certificates, and timely evidence collation.
- Coordinate with external law firms and manage internal trademark databases.
- Support business and regulatory teams with trademark-related filings.
- Conduct trademark due diligence projects for various regions.
- Research trademark case laws and approve artworks from a trademark perspective.
- Draft, vet, and review CDAs, service agreements, POAs, LOAs, addendums, and vendor agreements.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and presentation slides for real-time statistics.
- Participate in annual and project-specific legal assignments.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree with 3–5 years of experience in trademark law.
- Strong knowledge of the Trademark Act, 1999, and Copyright Act, 1957.
- Familiarity with the Legal Metrology Act, 2009, and Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 is preferred.
- Experience in online trademark filings and agreement drafting.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
