Details of the Job/Internship
SkipperSeil Limited is hiring an Executive Assistant – Commercial & Legal with experience of 1–5 years to join their office in Dubai. The role involves providing comprehensive support in statutory compliance, legal documentation, commercial coordination, and administrative functions for group companies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor statutory and regulatory compliance across group companies.
- Collect, maintain, and track statutory filings, payments, and regulatory submissions.
- Prepare and submit monthly MIS reports on legal matters, disputes, compliance status, and renewals.
- Maintain legal documentation, licenses, registrations, and statutory records.
- Ensure timely renewal of trade licenses, establishment cards, sharing permits, and DMCC or Customs approvals.
- Manage renewals for group entities and coordinate insurance and vehicle registration renewals.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting commercial agreements, NDAs, supply contracts, purchase orders, subcontracting agreements, and service-level agreements.
- Support compliance with industry regulations, statutory norms, contractual requirements, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel for litigation, arbitration, and dispute-resolution matters.
- Maintain case files, document submissions, and follow-up schedules.
- Manage repositories for contracts, legal files, and commercial correspondence.
- Track contract expiries, renewal dates, obligations, and milestones.
- Track delivery schedules, insurance documents, bank guarantees, LC terms, and post-order obligations.
- Support documentation for LC, BG, advance payments, and commercial instruments.
- Assist in preparing invoices, raising commercial claims, and drafting contractual correspondence.
- Support customer and vendor communication related to documentation, compliance, and contract terms.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or Commerce/Business Administration with exposure to commercial or legal functions.
- 1–5 years of experience in legal, commercial, documentation, or compliance roles, preferably in relevant industries.
- Experience with DMCC or Customs regulatory procedures is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of contractual clauses, statutory requirements, and legal terminology.
- Excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to coordinate cross-functionally.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of handling confidential information.
