Details of the Job/Internship

Tata Communications is hiring an Executive – Corporate Legal with 6 months to 3 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves providing legal support across business verticals, with a focus on commercial contracts, procurement, and corporate legal matters. It requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate routine commercial contracts, including customer-facing and procurement agreements.
• Prepare special terms and conditions for order forms, purchase orders, NDAs, SOWs, and other documents.
• Provide day-to-day legal support to global commercial and procurement legal teams.
• Assist in finalising legal documentation such as restructuring documents, amendments, and vendor/customer agreements.
• Review tender documents and RFPs to identify legal risks.
• Assist in general corporate and administrative legal matters.
• Support creation and maintenance of legal documentation for business units.
• Collaborate with business teams and internal functions to deliver effective legal support.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB).
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in commercial contract law in a corporate or law firm setting.
• Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend
