Tata Communications is hiring an Executive – Corporate Legal to join its Legal Services Group in Mumbai. The role involves providing legal support across commercial contracts, procurement, and corporate legal matters, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including customer-facing and procurement-facing agreements.
- Prepare special terms and conditions for NDAs, purchase orders, SOWs, and other legal documents.
- Provide day-to-day legal assistance to global commercial and procurement teams.
- Support business and user teams in finalizing legal documentation, including restructuring documents, contract amendments, and vendor/customer agreements.
- Review tender documents and RFPs to identify and assess legal risks.
- Assist in general corporate and administrative legal matters.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of legal documentation for various business units.
- Collaborate with business teams and internal functions to deliver timely and effective legal support.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).
- 6 months – 3 years of experience in commercial contract law, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
