Details of the Job/Internship

SPR India is hiring an Executive Legal with experience of 4–5 years to join their office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters across various judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
• Coordinate effectively with external lawyers, legal advisors, and internal corporate teams.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a broad range of commercial agreements and contracts.
• Prepare and respond to legal notices, petitions, and related court documentation.
• Address and resolve legal queries raised by customers, including drafting formal replies and negotiating solutions.
• Manage daily operations and administrative tasks within the legal department.
• Provide legal advice on a broad range of issues to support business activities.
• Maintain and manage an organized repository of all legal records and documentation.

Eligibility

• Law graduate with a minimum of 4–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Professional background preferably in a law firm or a corporate legal department.
• Proven experience in handling litigation matters and court procedures.
• Strong drafting skills with hands-on experience in negotiating and interpreting commercial agreements.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-handling skills to interface with all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Relevant experience within the real estate sector.
