Details of the Job/Internship
Larsen & Toubro Vyoma is hiring a Legal & Compliance professional with 3–5 years of experience in the IT, data centre, or cloud services industry.
Role and Responsibilities
- Create and manage contract templates including MSAs, NDAs, SLAs, and other commercial agreements.
- Review and negotiate contracts with customers, vendors, and partners.
- Define and update regulatory and compliance frameworks across India and other applicable jurisdictions.
- Track SLA breaches and support negotiations or responses to customer issues.
- Provide litigation support and assist in dispute management.
- Ensure data security and compliance requirements are met.
- Support documentation and compliance for certifications such as MeitY empanelment, ISO, and SOC 2.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure adherence to certification standards.
- Liaise with regulators and government authorities including MeitY, DOT, and TRAI.
- Coordinate with external legal consultants when required.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
- Specialization in Cyber Law, IT Law, Business Law, or Corporate Law preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in legal and compliance roles within Data Centre, Cloud Services, IT Services, or ITES sectors.
- Experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation, particularly IT contracts and SLAs.
- Knowledge of company law, labour laws, and IT regulatory frameworks in India.
- Experience dealing with telecom and IT regulators such as DoT and TRAI.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance requirements in India and international jurisdictions (US/EU preferred).
- Experience handling high-value commercial contracts and working with senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
