Details of the Job/Internship
Clariant is hiring an Executive – Legal with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial contract management to join their legal team in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, and support legal operations across business units in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize commercial contracts for the India region.
- Manage Confidential Disclosure Agreements and NDAs with global counterparts.
- Ensure efficient and compliant contract execution and management.
- Provide legal advice and negotiate contract terms with internal and external parties.
- Develop and maintain standard legal document templates.
- Coordinate with external counsel for litigation and dispute management.
- Support case documentation, evidence collation, and legal notices.
- Draft Powers of Attorney, legal notices, and settlement agreements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial contract management.
- Experience in the manufacturing or chemical industry preferred.
- Strong skills in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Hands-on experience in litigation support and dispute resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
