Details of the Job/Internship

The EPIC Company is hiring an Executive – Legal with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across film and television production, including drafting talent and co-production agreements.
• Negotiate rights acquisition, licensing, literary option/purchase agreements, and content exploitation deals.
• Review and perfect chain of title and assess third-party rights and obligations.
• Conduct IP and content clearances during the pre-development phase.
• Handle marketing and promotional contracts, including product placements and co-branding initiatives.
• Support litigation matters through detailed research and preparation of briefing materials.

Eligibility

• LLB degree from a recognized university.
• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience specifically in the Media & Entertainment sector.
• Strong background in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
• Must be Mumbai-based and able to join within 15–30 days.

Salary/Stipend
