Details of the Job/Internship

Torrent Power is hiring an Executive Legal professional for its Ahmedabad office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage legal compliance at the corporate office.
• Review commercial contracts, including EPC, PPAs, fuel supply, and big-ticket purchase contracts, providing advice on onerous clauses and non-commercial terms.
• Review legal documentation for bank loans, NCDs, and other financing contracts.
• Provide general legal counsel on corporate laws, electricity laws, competition laws, IBC, labour laws, etc.
• Manage key court matters and arbitration processes (excluding regulatory appeals).
• Conduct legal due diligence and negotiate documentation in M&A situations.

Salary/Stipend
