Suraj Estate Developers Limited is hiring for the position of Executive - Stamp Duty Registration to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and process all documents related to stamp duty payment and property registration in accordance with applicable state regulations.
• Liaise with sub-registrar offices, government authorities, and internal teams to facilitate timely and accurate registrations.
• Ensure timely payment and filing of stamp duty to avoid any interest, penalties, or compliance issues.
• Manage end-to-end documentation for instruments such as sale deeds, lease deeds, gift deeds, conveyance deeds, etc.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of registered documents and related correspondence.
• Coordinate with legal advisors and stakeholders to identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in stamp duty rules, government notifications, and registration procedures (particularly in Maharashtra and other relevant states).
• Support audit processes and internal compliance checks relating to document registration and stamp duty.

Eligibility

• Prior experience in the real estate, legal, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of state-specific stamp duty and registration laws (especially Maharashtra).
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of legal documentation and property-related procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
