Cashify is hiring an Executive / Senior Executive – Legal with experience of 3–5 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Liaise with police authorities and legal representatives regarding ongoing and new criminal cases involving the company or its employees.
- Represent the company in police stations and coordinate responses to police queries or summons.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation and record-keeping of all police-related matters.
- Initiate and manage the filing of FIRs on behalf of the company.
- Track and follow up on the status of FIRs and police investigations.
- Address day-to-day legal challenges in company operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to assess legal risks and offer appropriate solutions.
- Draft, review, and vet legal documents including notices, replies, written statements, and police complaints.
- Ensure legal documents align with company strategy and applicable legal standards.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in criminal and operational legal matters.
- Strong understanding of IPC, CrPC, BNS, BNSS, and police procedural laws.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Fluent in Kannada, English / Hindi; proficiency in local South Indian languages is a plus.
- Prior experience in dealing with police departments and law enforcement agencies preferred.
- Open to travel PAN India.
