Details of the Job/Internship

OakNorth is hiring a Senior Executive for the Transactional Execution Team (TET) with experience of 2–5 years to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end execution of lending transactions from sanction through to disbursement.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Credit, Legal, Risk, and Operations to move deals forward.
• Review loan documentation to ensure strict alignment with the approved sanction terms.
• Liaise with external legal counsel to finalize security documents and facility agreements.
• Ensure all Conditions Precedent (CPs) are fully satisfied before any funds are released.
• Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers, lawyers, and advisors to resolve execution issues.
• Coordinate the disbursement process and ensure the accuracy of all fund flows.
• Support the ongoing monitoring of financial covenants and post-disbursement requirements.

Eligibility

• 2–5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or loan operations.
• Strong understanding of lending products, including term loans and structured finance.
• Deep familiarity with legal processes and loan documentation standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Preferred: Experience in credit operations or structured finance and exposure to working with external legal counsel.
• Professional Qualifications: CA, CFA, or MBA is considered a significant plus.
