Details of the Job/Internship
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is hiring an Export and Legal Assistant to join its Group Legal team in Bengaluru and support international trade compliance and legal documentation activities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations including EAR and ITAR.
- Review export trade approval requests and assist with documentation such as licenses and end-use certificates.
- Monitor legal changes and update internal procedures.
- Support internal audits and prepare compliance reports.
- Update corporate changes in internal systems and manage legal records.
- Circulate legal documents for signatures across regions.
- Assist with expense documentation and provide compliance advice on trade matters.
Eligibility
- Graduation/Post Graduation in any discipline, preferably in Commerce, International Trade, or International Business.
- 3–5 years of experience in export compliance or legal support in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience in working within international teams is preferred.
- Certification in Export Compliance or experience with dual-use goods/defense exports is desirable.
