Details of the Job/Internship

Azim Premji University is hiring experienced professionals for Faculty Positions in Continuing Legal Education with 5-6 years of experience to work at its School of Continuing Education and University Resource Centre (SCE-URC) in Ranchi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs for lawyers and paralegals.
• Build and train faculty pools under the “Training of Trainers” model.
• Develop capacity-building curricula focused on access to justice, legal ethics, and rights-based governance.
• Collaborate on course design, content development, and participant assessment.
• Conduct training in English and Hindi for diverse stakeholders including CSOs and legal practitioners.
• Monitor learning outcomes and contribute to program improvement.
• Build partnerships with CSOs and government bodies for legal education outreach.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related social science discipline.
• 5–6 years of experience in legal training, capacity building, curriculum design, or litigation.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi (oral and written).
• Willingness to travel and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Desirable:
• Expertise in thematic areas such as child rights, gender justice, labour, or access to entitlements.
• Experience in litigation and program implementation related to access to justice.
• Strong network within civil society and legal aid organizations.
