Details of the Job/Internship

CMR University is hiring faculty members across multiple seniority levels—Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor—to join its School of Legal Studies in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in specialized areas such as Constitutional, Corporate, or Criminal Law.
• Mentor and provide academic guidance to students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate legal programs.
• Design and update curriculum and course modules to reflect the latest legal developments and industry trends.
• Conduct independent legal research and publish scholarly articles in reputed, peer-reviewed journals.
• Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and moot court preparations.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and university-wide administrative tasks.
• Organize and attend academic conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs.
• Contribute to the university’s community through outreach and legal aid initiatives.

Eligibility

• LL.B. and LL.M. from a recognized university or institution.
• PhD (highly preferred) or qualification through NET / SET / SLET.
• 2–15 years of experience in academia or the legal industry, depending on the level of the post.
• Expertise in one of the following specializations: Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, or Criminal Law.
• Strong commitment to academic excellence and student-centric mentoring.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills suitable for a higher education setting.

Salary/Stipend
