Details of the Job/Internship
Adab Singh Kapoor & Associates (ASK) is hiring a Litigation Associate with experience of 2–5 years to join their practice in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Representation before the Karnataka High Court and District Courts of Bengaluru.
- Handling Family Law matters including domestic violence complaints, divorce, maintenance, and custody cases.
- Drafting writ petitions, appeals, revision and transfer petitions, pleadings, affidavits, and written submissions.
- Conducting legal research using platforms such as Manupatra and SCC Online.
- Due diligence and drafting or vetting of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Eligibility
- LLB degree or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of professional litigation experience in Bengaluru.
- Prior experience and strong interest in Family Law and Civil Laws.
- Strong command over English with effective communication and pleading skills.
- Publications in legal journals or websites.
- Proficiency in the local language.
