Adab Singh Kapoor & Associates is hiring an Associate – Litigation (Family & Civil Law) with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Saket, Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients in the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, and District Courts.
- Handle Family Law matters including domestic violence complaints, divorce, maintenance, and custody petitions.
- Manage Civil Law cases and related proceedings.
- Draft writ petitions, appeals, revision petitions, transfer petitions, complaints, evidence affidavits, civil suits, written statements, replies, replications, rejoinders, and submissions.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Manupatra and SCC Online.
- Perform due diligence and draft or vet legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Eligibility
- LL.M. degree or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in litigation in Delhi.
- Strong interest and experience in Family and Civil Laws, with openness to other legal areas.
- Excellent command over English and strong communication and pleading skills.
- Familiarity with legal research databases like Manupatra and SCC Online.
- Publications in legal journals or websites preferred.
- Proficiency in the local language.
