Lawist Shubham Kumar is hiring for the position of Field Research Assistant to join their office in Patna. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct Field Research: Visit relevant locations, interview individuals, and gather case-related information from official records or ground-level sources.
• Data Collection & Documentation: Accurately collect, record, and organize field data, including legal facts, witness inputs, or supporting documentation.
• Support Case Preparation: Analyze and interpret findings to provide inputs for ongoing cases and assist in building legal strategies.
• Liaise with Stakeholders: Maintain professional communication with clients, witnesses, and external contacts to facilitate research.
• Reporting: Present regular summaries and reports of field findings to the legal team for integration into case files.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Social Sciences, Criminology, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong skills in fieldwork, data collection, and research methodology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality..
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• A proactive mindset with analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach.

Salary/Stipend
