Details of the Job/Internship
Kovalus Separation Solutions is looking for a candidate for the position of Finance and Compliance Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
- Accounting till finalization of books of accounts.
- Income Tax regulations including transfer pricing, TDS/TCS filings.
- GST/VAT Compliances including the filing of returns in a timely manner.
- Corporate Laws including drafting Board Resolutions, Minutes of Meeting, and maintaining various records/registers prescribed by applicable corporate laws and rules.
- Export/Import Compliances as per FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act), Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and Customs Act.
- Leading cross-functional initiatives related to regulatory compliances that span the entire business spectrum, including Supply Chain, Purchase, Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Human Resources.
- Labour Laws (IDA) including managing payoll and employee benefits, Ethics and Professional Code, Data Protection Laws.
- Drafting and negotiating national and international commercial contracts, such as Master Services Agreements, Statements of Works (SOWs) in line with laws of India.
- Managing disputes, responding to show-cause notices, and strategizing alternative approaches to legal challenges raised by regulatory authorities like under Customs, GST, Income Tax, FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act), Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).
- Liasoning with external consultants/advocates.
- Team Leadership & Development.
- ERP Implementation.
- Strategic Decision Support.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce and/or degree in law (preferable) or a similar discipline.
- Prior experience of more than 15 years of working as a compliance/regulatory, manager or in a similar position in a multinational company.
- Proficiency in industry trends, laws, and regulations.
- Strong Communication, Research, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Attitude.
- Relationship building with regulatory authorities external advocates, and trade associations.
- MS Office (word and Excel) and ERP systems proficiency.
Salary/Stipend
