Details of the Job/Internship

Godrej Agrovet Limited is looking for a candidate for the position of Finance Executive with 1 to 4 years of experience to join them at their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Month end closure- Assist in efficient month-end book closure within 1 day, ensuring timely reporting with accurate reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Monitoring debtors, creditors, stock and ensuring accurate provisioning.
• Financial reporting: Preparing accurate financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets & Cash flow.
• Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in developing, monitoring, and managing the company's budget and creating financial growth plans.
• Compliance: Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant financial regulations, standards, and tax laws.
• Internal controls: Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Audit management: Coordinating and managing both internal and external audits.
• Financial analysis: Prepare ad -hoc reports for the management to identify trends, evaluate performance, and provide recommendations to management for decision-making.
• Automation projects- Automated recurring financial and MIS reports to improve accuracy, reduce manual effort, and accelerate reporting timelines.
• Tax & Treasury - Manage and assist with tax filings (GST, Income Tax) and Treasury operations.

Eligibility

• Education: CA.
• 1- 4 years of experience.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
