Details of the Job/Internship
American Express is hiring for the position of Financial Analyst to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
- Monitor & manage automated processes, including performing root cause analysis for troubleshooting issues and implementing permanent fixes where required.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders – Process team, technology partner & Product owners.
- Quickly grasp new processes and ensure seamless support & execution.
- Pursue continuous improvement in execution, lead intelligent automation, and monitor compliance with policies.
- Responsible for improving the control environment by ensuring satisfactory audit experience and enhancing internal controls.
- Responsible for and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLA), internal guidelines, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support/participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives as well as other business partner initiatives.
- Ensure controls & compliance with prevailing policies & procedures such as SOX, Process Risk Self-Assessment, and support Statutory/Internal audit.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other equivalent.
- 0-5 years of experience in automation/system support / RPA.
- Strong knowledge of RPA, well-Developed Analytical Skills including financial accounting / reporting understanding.
- Change management exposure, including establishing new processes.
- A fast/keen learner with the ability to learn a detailed process quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
