Flexing It is hiring a Freelance Legal Consultant to support Investment Banking and Wealth Management businesses.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts including service agreements, NDAs, engagement letters, and vendor contracts.
- Identify legal, commercial, and risk deviations from standard templates and internal policies, and provide mitigation inputs.
- Support the Investment Banking team with NDA and engagement letter reviews.
- Provide contractual risk inputs for IB-related engagements.
- Review service and distribution agreements for Wealth Management.
- Provide legal support aligned with regulatory and internal frameworks.
- Offer ad-hoc legal support across business verticals.
- Conduct legal research and contract reviews as required.
Eligibility
- LLB (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- 5–8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Mandatory exposure to corporate services, wealth management, and investment banking.
- Prior in-house experience in a financial services organization or exposure through a reputed law firm preferred.
- Strong commercial contracting and negotiation skills.
- Sound understanding of financial services regulations.
- Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a practical, solution-focused approach.
