Details of the Job/Internship
CareStack™ is hiring a General Counsel (Legal) with 4+ years of experience to join their office in Trivandrum.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise executive leadership and the board on all legal matters.
- Act as the General Counsel across international entities, coordinating with local counsel.
- Review and draft contracts, including employment, vendor, NDAs, and customer agreements.
- Conduct legal research and manage litigation strategies.
- Maintain and safeguard legal and corporate records.
- Oversee statutory filings and compliance.
- Create new business entities and manage intellectual property.
- Lead legal diligence for fundraisers and other external/internal reviews.
- Serve as the legal liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure business operations comply with applicable laws and directives.
Eligibility
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from a top-tier law school.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in law firms or corporate legal roles.
- Experience in fund investments, venture capital, and M&A.
- Familiarity with corporate governance and secretarial duties.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of confidentiality protocols.
- Preferred: Prior experience with US/international corporate law.
