Details of the Job/Internship

Humiint is looking for a candidate for the position of Fractional General Counsel to work with them in remote mode.

Role and Responsibilities

• Serving as the principal legal advisor to executive teams and boards on corporate, operational, and strategic matters
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts.
• Supporting fundraising, M&A activity, and investor due diligence.
• Advising on employment law, IP protection, equity matters, and international expansion.
• Managing external counsel relationships and ensuring legal spend efficiency.
• Implementing internal legal processes, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Interpreting applicable regulatory environments and advising on sector-specific requirements (e.g., data privacy, fintech, healthcare, ESG).
• Supporting policy development, governance, and ethical decision-making.

Eligibility

• Legal experience, including in-house or executive-level legal leadership.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree and active license to practice law in your jurisdiction.
• Expertise across commercial, corporate, employment, IP, and/or regulatory law.
• Proven experience advising C-suite stakeholders and managing cross-functional legal matters.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to balance legal risk with strategic objectives.
• Experience working with startups, global teams, or regulated sectors is a strong plus.
• Prior consulting, fractional, or remote legal advisory experience is highly valued.

Salary/Stipend
