Details of the Job/Internship

TradeZero International is hiring for the position of General Counsel with 10 years of experience to join their office in Bhopal.

Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as the chief legal advisor to the executive team and board of directors.
• Provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of matters, including corporate, commercial, employment, regulatory, and compliance issues across the U.S. and India.
• Draft, review, and negotiate high-value, cross-border contracts, agreements, and transactions.
• Oversee legal compliance across jurisdictions and ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage and coordinate litigation, dispute resolution, and collaboration with external legal counsel in both countries.
• Develop and implement company-wide legal policies, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and respond to evolving regulatory developments in the U.S. and India that impact business operations.
• Provide legal support for M&A, strategic alliances, and joint ventures, including due diligence and deal structuring.

Eligibility

• JD or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state and in India is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive legal experience, including in-house counsel and/or top-tier law firm background.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate and commercial law in both the U.S. and India, with hands-on experience in cross-border transactions.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to advise senior leadership on complex legal and regulatory matters with clarity and strategic insight.
• Experience in a fast-paced, global, tech-enabled environment is highly desirable.

Salary/Stipend
