Details of the Job/Internship

LotusFlare is hiring a General Legal Advisor with over 10 years of experience in telecom and enterprise software law to join their office in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate software licensing, SaaS, partnership, and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with telecom regulations, data privacy laws, and export controls.
• Provide legal risk assessment and manage dispute resolution, including coordination with external counsel.
• Protect company IP and ensure compliance with open-source licensing.
• Advise on corporate legal matters, employment laws, and compliance policies.
• Conduct legal due diligence and support for M&A and strategic partnerships.

Eligibility

• J.D. or equivalent law degree with bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial deals related to telecoms and enterprise software.
• 10+ years in corporate law, commercial contracts, or technology transactions.
• Strong understanding of SaaS agreements, telecom regulations, and international business law.
• Experience with data privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property matters.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple priorities.

Salary/Stipend
