Details of the Job/Internship
Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) is hiring a Global Compliance Lead with 3+ years of experience to join its India office (Mumbai or other locations).
Role and Responsibilities
- Support MACN members in navigating anti-corruption regulations (FCPA, UK Bribery Act, etc.).
- Oversee and develop compliance tools and resources.
- Lead training programs on sanctions compliance across Southeast Asia and Europe.
- Support due diligence initiatives and liaise with external providers.
- Champion anti-corruption disclosures within ESG and sustainability reporting.
- Manage stakeholder engagement with German SMEs, trade associations, and training partners.
- Develop training materials and implement blended learning modules.
- Operationalize SME membership onboarding and engagement in Germany.
- Contribute to internal learning, communications, and donor reporting.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Trade, Public Policy, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, compliance, ESG, or integrity risk.
- Strong knowledge of sanctions or anti-corruption frameworks.
- Experience working with governments, donors, NGOs, and businesses.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in MS Office.
- High ethical standards and commitment to MACN’s values.
