Details of the Job/Internship

Elevate is hiring a Global Ethics, Compliance & Governance Lead with experience of 10+ years to join their office in Gurugram

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the design and continuous enhancement of global compliance programs, ensuring alignment with GDPR, CCPA, and FCPA standards.
• Drive enterprise-wide risk assessments, internal audits, and investigations to minimize regulatory exposure.
• Oversee corporate governance frameworks, board processes, statutory filings, and SOX requirements.
• Advise senior leadership on governance obligations, ethical disclosures, and industry best practices.
• Develop and deliver training programs and policies that promote accountability and sound decision-making.
• Build partnerships with cross-functional teams including Legal, HR, Finance, and IT.
• Manage relationships with external regulators and auditors while preparing executive-level compliance reports.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in compliance, governance, or legal functions with leadership responsibility.
• Experience within multinational or technology-driven environments is highly regarded.
• Strong commercial judgment and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications such as CCEP or GRC are preferred.
• Must be able to start the engagement immediately.

Salary/Stipend
