Details of the Job/Internship
Medtronic is hiring a Global Legal Counsel with a minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience to join its Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate procurement, supply chain, SaaS, and healthcare services contracts.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, laws, and healthcare standards in contracting processes.
- Support HCP contracting and transparency requirements.
- Identify contractual risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Collaborate with U.S. and regional attorneys on day-to-day legal matters and strategic projects.
- Utilize legal technology tools to improve contract workflows.
- Maintain accurate records in contract management systems.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; LL.M. preferred.
- 8+ years of legal experience, preferably in multinational or healthcare organizations.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, procurement law, and healthcare compliance.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with international legal teams is an advantage.
